We don't:

- Sell your data (we don't have any to sell!)
- Show you creepy targeted ads
- Require you to create an account
We do:
- Stream great music to your device
- Remember your volume settings (locally, on your device)
- Use standard internet connections to deliver audio

1. WHO WE ARE
Now Wave Live is a music streaming application operated by Now Wave Radio, LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Now Wave"). We provide live radio streaming services through our mobile application available on iOS and Android platforms.
Our mission is simple: deliver great music without the usual tech industry nonsense of harvesting your data. We believe you should be able to enjoy music without becoming the product.

2. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Let's be refreshingly honest here: we collect almost nothing.
Information We Do Not Collect
- Your name, email, or contact information
- Your location data
- Your contacts or address book
- Your photos or files
- Your browsing history
- Your device's advertising identifier
- Biometric data
- Financial information
- Health information
- Any information that identifies you personally
Information Automatically Processed (Not Stored By Us)
When you use Now Wave Live, some technical information is processed to make the app work. This is handled by your device and our streaming servers, but we don't store or analyze it:
- IP Address: When you connect to our streaming servers, your IP address is temporarily processed to deliver the audio stream. This is how the internet works—we can't send you music without knowing where to send it! We do not log, store, or analyze IP addresses.
- Device Type: Standard HTTP headers tell our servers what type of device is requesting the stream. This helps ensure compatibility but is not stored or linked to any individual.
Information Stored Locally On Your Device
The app stores some preferences directly on your device (not on our servers):
- App Preferences: Settings like volume levels are stored locally using your device's standard storage mechanisms (UserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android).
- Audio Cache: Temporary audio data may be cached on your device to ensure smooth playback. This is automatically managed and cleared by your device.
This local data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
Since we don't collect personal information, this section is refreshingly brief:
- Stream Delivery: We use network connections to deliver live audio streams to your device. That's the core service.
- App Functionality: Local preferences are used to remember your settings between app sessions, making your experience smoother.
- Service Improvement: We may analyze aggregate, anonymous server metrics (like total concurrent listeners) to ensure our infrastructure can handle demand. This data cannot identify individual users.
We do NOT use any information for:
- Advertising or ad targeting
- User profiling
- Behavioral analysis
- Sale to third parties
- Any purpose other than delivering music to your ears
4. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We don't share your personal information because we don't have it.
However, in the interest of full transparency:
Service Providers
Our audio streams are delivered via content delivery networks (CDNs) and hosting providers. These providers may process connection data (like IP addresses) in the normal course of delivering content. They are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order. However, since we don't collect or retain personal information, we typically have nothing to disclose. We will notify users of legal requests when legally permitted to do so.
Business Transfers
If Now Wave Radio, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, any data we hold would be transferred. Given our minimal data practices, this would primarily involve server infrastructure rather than user data.
We Do Not
- Sell personal information to anyone, ever
- Share data with advertisers
- Provide data to data brokers
- Allow third-party tracking in our app
5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
What We Store
On our servers: Essentially nothing related to individual users. We maintain our streaming infrastructure and aggregate statistics (total listeners, etc.) but no personal data.
On your device: App preferences and temporary audio cache, stored using standard platform security mechanisms.
Security Measures
- All audio streams are delivered over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections
- We use industry-standard security practices for our infrastructure
- We regularly update our systems and dependencies
- We do not store sensitive personal data, which eliminates most data breach risks
Data Retention
- Server logs: Temporary connection data is not retained
- Local data: Stored until you uninstall the app or clear app data
- Aggregate statistics: May be retained indefinitely (non-personal)
6. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
We believe in robust privacy rights, even though our minimal data collection means most don't apply in practice:
You Have The Right To
- Access: Request what personal data we hold about you (answer: none)
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data (not applicable)
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data (local data can be deleted by uninstalling the app)
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format (not applicable)
- Object: Object to processing of your data (not applicable)
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time (uninstall the app)
How To Exercise Your Rights
Contact us at [email protected] with your request. We will respond within 30 days (or sooner—we're not that busy with privacy requests given our data practices).
For local data stored on your device:
- iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Now Wave Live → Delete App
- Android: Settings → Apps → Now Wave Live → Storage → Clear Data
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Now Wave Live is a general audience application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area).
Since we don't collect personal information from anyone, this concern is largely moot. However, parents and guardians should be aware that the app streams live radio content, which may occasionally include music with mature themes depending on the programming.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate and delete any such information.
8. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Now Wave Live is operated from the United States. If you access our service from outside the United States, please be aware that any information processed may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
However, since we don't collect personal information, cross-border data transfer concerns are minimal. The audio stream you receive is delivered from servers that may be located in various countries for optimal performance.

9. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS (CCPA)
This section provides additional disclosures required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) for California residents.

In the preceding 12 months, we have NOT collected any of the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers (name, email, IP address stored, etc.)

- Internet or network activity (beyond temporary stream delivery)

- Professional or employment information

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We DO NOT sell personal information. We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months. We DO NOT share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your California Privacy Rights
As a California resident, you have the right to:
- KNOW: Request disclosure of personal information collected, used, and disclosed. (We collect none.)
- DELETE: Request deletion of personal information. (Uninstall the app to remove local data.)
- CORRECT: Request correction of inaccurate personal information. (Not applicable.)
- OPT-OUT: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. (We don't sell or share, but you can contact us to confirm.)
- LIMIT USE: Limit the use of sensitive personal information. (We don't collect sensitive personal information.)
- NON-DISCRIMINATION: Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

We will verify your identity before processing requests. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization, and we may verify your identity directly.

California residents may request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes.
10. EUROPEAN USERS (GDPR)
This section provides additional information for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, as required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws.
Data Controller
Now Wave Radio acts as the data controller for any personal data processing. Contact details are provided in Section 1.
Legal Basis For Processing
We process minimal data based on the following legal grounds:
- Legitimate Interests: Delivering the audio streaming service you requested. (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)
- Consent: For any optional features that may process personal data in the future, we will obtain your explicit consent. (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR)
Currently, since we don't collect personal data, the legal basis question is largely theoretical.
Your GDPR Rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of Access (Article 15): Request access to your personal data.
- Right to Rectification (Article 16): Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to Erasure (Article 17): Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Right to Restrict Processing (Article 18): Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
- Right to Data Portability (Article 20): Receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Data Protection Officer
Given our minimal data processing, we have not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer. Privacy inquiries should be directed to [email protected].
Supervisory Authority

International Transfers
If personal data were to be transferred outside the EEA, we would ensure appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Currently, since we don't collect personal data, this is not applicable.
Data Retention
We do not retain personal data. Temporary processing for stream delivery occurs only for the duration necessary to provide the service.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document
- For significant changes, provide notice through the app or our website
- Continue to be as transparent and straightforward as we've been here
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of Now Wave Live after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
